Baskids Book Corner

In celebration of National Reading Month, Baskids will host read-alongs at different elementary schools in the DMV. We are so excited to start this project to engage with young readers and get books into as many homes as possible. You can help by donating as many books as you can or sponsoring an entire Baskids Book Corner for a class here: Donate to Baskids Book Corner.

The Baskids Book Corners are such a success because it gives us the opportunity to engage with the young readers during the read-alongs and give them the opportunity to continue reading at home by providing books for every participant.

Winter Baskids

Join us for our Annual Winter Baskids as we collect donations of hats, scarves, gloves and other winter accessories! All items will be compiled to create winter baskets for children at DC General Family Shelter and St. Ann's Center for Children, Yought and Families.

In celebration of Fall festivities, BasKIDS is collecting literacy materials, candy and donations. These items will be compiled to create baskets for the children of DC General Shelter, Ronald McDonald Charity House and John Hopkins Children Center. 

Happy Hour is from 5-8pm with food, drink and hookah specials!
